Beautiful English Wedgwood Jasperware ashtray or trinket dish in “Wedgwood Blue” depicting Cupid as the oracle from Roman Mythology. It has a border of grapevines and grapes.
Jasperware is a type of pottery first developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s. Jasperware is usually described as stoneware, with an unglazed matte “biscuit” finish.
