Enameled Expandable Necklace and Matching Earrings

This is a jewelry set purchased from the Metropolitan Museum of Art many years ago. The necklace is semi-rigid, with enameled ovals in a creamy white, separated by 1/2" square faux jewel accents. The faux jewels are red (ruby-like) and a milky white that reads like faux diamonds or opals, depending on the light. The earrings match the accents and have a post for pierced ears. The necklace is approximately 18" long and has two extender ovals that can be added or subtracted to make the piece 2" longer or shorter. It has a lobster-style clasp. Necklace was originally $175.00 and earrings were originally $75.00.
