Stunning emerald set in 14kt white gold adorned with the most sparkly and brilliant high quality diamond stones I’ve seen yet in my diamond collection. My favorite emerald piece! Also the ring was accidentally dropped onto hardwood floor causing the stone to pop out but fixed for $50 since that happened a few months ago around June or July 2019. Diamond report attached. FYI 5.6 x 5.9mm = .70 carat approximately

daotran127 @antocloset1 Antonella! I got that job!!!!!! Been so busy with onboarding process, renewing passport, and file for a naturalization certificate replacement ($355 in fees when I could purchase your Channel dress 😭). Just have a quick sec to get back to you right now. I’ll message you more later 😘! Thx for compliment on the emerald ring. It’s stunning. I might keep and not sell 😊. Hope your day is going good so far. Talk soon!

antocloset1 @daotran127 Omg! Congratulations! 🎉 That is amazing and I’m so happy for you. When do you start?! I hope the process goes very well! I also hope you receive your package soon! I’m going to track it now. It should’ve definitely been there by now. 🤷🏽‍♀️♥️

suzie6869 Is this a natural or lab created emerald?
Sep 19Reply
daotran127
daotran127 @suzie6869 Real! All my stuff are natural especially if I am going to spend thousands. Although lab products are beautiful too, there’s nothing comparable to natural and that’s why I never buy lab.

suzie6869 @daotran127 I agree! Is it just the angle or cell phone quality pics that make it look like the stone doesn’t fit in the setting? Some pictures it looks fine and others look like there’s a gap. I could definitely be wrong - or blind lol. It’s a beautiful ring.

daotran127 @suzie6869 LOL you are the first one to have noticed and great observations!!! I posted those pix intentionally so people can see that the stone which fell out of its socket had been repaired for $50. I accidentally dropped the ring onto the floor a few months ago. The impact was hard enough to suddenly cause it to pop out just like that. So unexpectedly! But now it’s in tact and as good as new with receipt too. I should post this info in the description but just haven’t gotten to it.

daotran127 @suzie6869 And yes I agree with you that it’s a beautiful ring. That’s why I am having a hard time giving it up and may keep after all. It’s stunning and sparkles like crazy due to its VS clarity and colorless grade in the little diamonds.

daotran127 @suzie6869 Wow Suzie you’re amazing with your speedy offer and thank you so much for that but would you be able to wait for my appraisal so we both know what we are selling and buying? Don’t want any surprises after the fact plus I also want you to have a copy if I end up selling the piece to you. Is that fair?

suzie6869 @daotran127 Yes, absolutely!

daotran127 @suzie6869 So sorry for the delay but I went to 3 stores last Sunday to get it appraised and all 3 were closed on Sundays. So I will have to try again Saturday this weekend. Standby for more details coming your way!

suzie6869
suzie6869 No problem. Could you find out about any treatment of the emerald as well, as most are treated in some way to enhance color but could be minor, moderate or significant treating. Thanks.

daotran127
daotran127 @suzie6869 I sure will. Sorry for delay. I’ve been trying to find another dependable jeweler locally since recently moved 30 miles north of south OC and still haven’t found one. My last jeweler made me wait 2 months for the 5 appraisals for my other pieces so I am taking a little longer to make sure this new jeweler doesn’t do the same thing.

daotran127 @suzie6869 I may have to go back to the previous one if can’t find a good one because she does such a good job and her price is so reasonable too so it may take another couple of weeks. But I’ll keep searching. Thanks for your patience!

daotran127 @suzie6869 Want to ensure a happy seller and a happy buyer so that’s why I am taking time on this piece. It’s extraordinary and you have great taste in jewelry with your eyes only without even trying on the ring. You know your jewelry I might add!!!

daotran127 @suzie6869 Finally took it to my distant previous appraiser yesterday since could not find a good one locally. Thank you for your patience! I am excited to see the results hoping the value comes close to my estimate plus or minus. Stay tuned for more data coming...

daotran127 @apesoup21 Aw you’re so sweet thank you! 😘 sorry I missed your message and didn’t see it until today. Hope you are well 💕. Did you see the diamond report I just posted? The appraisal came in higher than my listing. Wow!

daotran127 @suzie6869 Hello! Just posted the appraisal! It came in higher than my listing. Would you still be interested? If so, would you like to resend me the offer again? Looking forward to hearing from you soon!

daotran127
daotran127 @suzie6869 Also I asked about enhancements and they said generally heating emeralds and other stones is a common practice in the jewelry business to bring out the color more and most likely this emerald was heated. Hope that answered your question.

daotran127 @suzie6869 And as far as slight, moderate and a lot of treatment, that, they can’t tell you.

Dec 29Reply
daotran127
daotran127 @nikki22model Yes! Indeed! Thank you! You should see it in person though. It sparkles like crazy. Fotos don’t do justice. I priced it a bit higher than some of my other lower value pieces only because I love it so much and would only sell if I get a good price else why even sell you know what I mean? Plus Posh takes a big chunk too.
Dec 29Reply
daotran127
daotran127 @nikki22model I almost sold it to this one lady but I told her to wait a few days for the paperwork and she went ahead and bought another much cheaper emerald ring by the time I got it appraised. Please let me know if you have any questions whatsoever. I’ll be happy to answer. And thank you for visiting my closet!

nikki22model @daotran127 yes I totally understand the issue with the amount posh takes. Stinks they take so much. That’s my main complaint with Posh, but I really love buying and selling on here, so I just take it lol. I wish I had enough to get this ring. I don’t have an emerald piece yet and am determined to get one! Maybe one day in the near future I can sell enough to get this one!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

nikki22model @daotran127 awww thank you soooo much!!! You are too sweet! I’ll share your closet with my followers as well. Emerald is the birthstone of my son and of one of my friends who passed away, so it would most definitely be a special piece I would cherish! 💗

fabiolaguerra Hello how many carats is the emerald?
Jul 22Reply
daotran127
daotran127 @fabiolaguerra Hello dear! Thank you for your inquiry! It is approximately 0.7 carat. Please let me know if you have more questions! I’ll be happy to answer as best as I can.
Jul 22Reply
daotran127
daotran127 @fabiolaguerra Correction: .70 not .07 so almost 3/4 of a carat. Hope that helps.
