Embroidered Tea Towels Vintage Pair Days of The Week Wednesday & Thursday

Pair of vintage linen hand embroidered Days of The Week towels for Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday finds the young mother mending the back side of her son's trousers as he stands on a wooden chair. As in the other towels I have listed, there is an oval ( braided?) rug on the floor and against the wall, a wood tea or side table covered with a pink tablecloth and displaying a floral hurricane lamp. The woman has orange-red hair as does her son. Length 24 1/2" x 16". On Thursday. we see the woman has been out shopping with a younger child in pink bonnet and coat in a fancy baby carriage with a fringed surrey on top. The woman is well dressed with purple and pink bonnet, matching handbag and is carrying a nicely wrapped package. In the background, there is a green tree and shrub and lines of green indicate the woman is also walking in grass - again wearing heeled boots with button up spats. Her red hair is upswept and under her bonnet. Length 24 1/2" x 16 1/2". Please note that as these are handmade, length and widths on these towels, while close in size, are not perfectly uniform.
