Embellished White Dress w/ Slit

Women's size 2 white embellished prom dress with slit. The dress has a sheer white material that is seen on the back in the second picture. The dress is absolutely beautiful; however, the dress has a messed up hem where the slit is. I bought this dress from a fellow posher and was unaware of the damage to the bottom hem as shown in the pictures. The hem must be cut and resewn. I am 5'5 and if I cut the dress then it would've been too short for me. This dress would work best for someone shorter.
