sophiesummers @crazydaze8 can I ask you a favor - to do this test. I want to be sure of it being gold as I have allergies to other metals. I read this online can you please do it so to avoid unnecessary returns.

sophiesummers Anything that you purchase that is real gold should have the karat amount stamped into the jewelry. If the jewelry you are purchasing doesn’t have a stamp stating that its 10k, 14k, etc chances are that it isn’t real gold. If the jewelry is not stamped you can determine the content of that jewelry by a magnet test, if the piece of the jewelry attaches to the magnet that is a good determination that that jewelry is not precious

crazydaze8 @sophiesummers I have attached two pictures. We have an Amazon speaker that came with a magnetic strip to attach to our fridge that cradles the remote. The first picture is a picture of said magnet strip attached to a spoon. The second is the same magnetic strip sitting close to the ring. No magnetic attraction detected.
