freshsvelte @lejw - thanks for your questions! It is a true size 12. I had it tailored just a bit at the waist so that it fit snug. However, those stitches could easily be taken out. The back looks like the third picture. You can still see the sparkly shoulder from the back and there is a train with sparkles. I'm 5'4 but I wore 5 inch heels with this and there was still a few inches of material at the bottom--so I think you could easily wear this with flat, gladiator sandals and it would look amazing!
