Elegant Gold and Purple (amethyst) ? stone Ring Approx size 8.

This ring features a stunning purple stone set in a gold band. Perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any outfit. I do not know the amethyst is genuine. Could just be costume jewelry. If it is worth something, I guess it is my loss. I don’t see any markings on the band. I am assuming it is a size 8.
