Elegant Gold Cross Mechanical Pencil, Owner’s Name Engraved & Badge Attached

Vintage genuine Cross 14kt Gold Fill mechanical pencil. Engraved “Dr. Leonard Milton”. I don’t know what the attached badge symbolizes… maybe you do? The pencil still has some of its lead :) Lots of all over dings scratches. Bought in New England auction, if that helps to pinpoint any information on this piece.
