Elegant Brown Ceramic Vase and Plate Set

To be honest, I have no idea what this piece is... a candle holder maybe? No chips cracks or breaks. Measures 6" diameter, 5" tall and "vase" part is 3 1/2" tall. If anyone knows what this piece is or what it's called, kindly comment on the listing and let me know. Thank You!!!
