Elegant 70's Peignoir Set (Nightgown Set) by Diane Von Furstenberg - PETITE Size

This peignoir bought in a small boutique in Forest Hills, NY, circa 1973 by me -when I was just starting out. I have only worn this set maybe 10 times or less & it has accompanied me into all my closets since then. I was also smaller then- especially the bust line (34B back then) and the delicate lace across the chest fit perfectly. Bust line = 16.5 inches below the top lace of the nightgown. The peignoir or robe is much looser in the bust & has lace on the length of the sleeves & has pockets. The entire set is =53.5 inches from shoulder to lace on hem of robe and nightgown. The nightgown has double spaghetti straps & lace down both sides of this gown. This can be a collectors piece or used as a luxurious & comfortable option for sleepwear or lounge wear. This peignoir adds a touch of glamour and is associated with elegance and can make a woman feel special and glamours, even at home. The satin slippers were purchased for this set & are also available in my closet for sale. Pale pink in color- machine wash -gentle cycle or hand wash. Slight snags noted on this 100% nylon peignoir set (difficult to see up close), probably from going in & out of closets- see last pic.
