Egyptian Bastet Cat Statue

This vintage Egyptian cat statue represents the goddess Bastet, who was revered in ancient Egypt and associated with home, protection and fertility. This cat statue is made of limestone composite and measures 5 1/8" tall to the top of her ears x 2 1/8" front to back at the base. This cat is etched with whiskers and an intricate Egyptian necklace (see photos). This statue is in perfect condition - no chips, cracks or damage. Makes an attractive Mother's Day or Father's Day gift.
