This is the perfect antique engagement ring. It’s so classic and fresh. It’s over 100 years old and is as pretty as the day it was made. Finely etched shank’s exhibit a wheat pattern fixed with a beautiful fairytale crown setting that still holds its original stone. Setting is white gold with fineness hallmarks inside the band. The stone is a old European cut gemstone quartz or topaz. 100 years ago and more it was common for engagement rings to be set with a variety of gemstones other than diamond. Very often white sapphire, topaz, quartz variations were used. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the prongs are in great shape so you can have whatever you want set in the crown, smaller, bigger, gemstone, diamond or even a pearl.
