Edwardian belle époque pearls necklace.
Extremely chic and very delicate necklace, created in England during the Edwardian belle époque period, back in the 1910. This necklace is made up by a knotted strand of one hundred forty two pearls and a rhomboid security push box lock, crafted in yellow gold of 18 karats and topped with platinum for the gemstones settings. The settings are finished with millegrain design.
Diamonds: Mounted in millegrain settings, with 10 European rose cut diamonds, 0.30 carats, white colorless F/G/H, SI-1 clarity.
Sapphires: Mounted in bezel settings, with 2 French squared cut of natural royal blue sapphires, with 0.16 carats. The sapphires are from Pailin Cambodia, not heated.
Pearls: The strand is composed by 142 white natural semi-round pearls, graduated from 1.5 to 4.5 mm.
