sftrendy @jkdesigns - I started in Aug. put a great deal of time & effort into this account. I am an experienced reseller. To be more analytical, it may be the business style that could be a mismatch for me. I am not comfortable pushing my items. I share, share back, reached 15K followers. But I see the cycle keep turning around without producing any sale! and I don’t see doing more of the same thing would change the outcome. best, 🌷

jkdesigns @sftrendy it was six months before I knew I could make $75-100 a week! Now I make $400 and up a week. I looked at your store. You don’t have many listings. Poshmark recommends a minimum of $90 or customers don’t stay to look. I made MANY significant changes over time to fine tune the business.

jkdesigns @sftrendy I would be willing to share a few tips if you are interested but I think that unless you can give your Poshmark business the time to keep a full closet, your stuff won’t be shopped or taken seriously.

jkdesigns @sftrendy You have 99 but it doesn’t look like it. Try grouping all jewelry together, all tops together, etc. I organize by color too to make my store easier to shop and so it’s easier for customers to find things that match. I am getting rid of all clothes to make what I am about more clear to buyers. I take 6-8 photos per item all angles well lit and with close-ups. I include measurements in every single listing.

jkdesigns @sftrendy I can tell you that as a shopper of clothing, if a seller doesn’t have detailed measurements, I move on to someone that does. I don’t want to wait days til someone gets back to me! I am shopping NOW! And I can’t try Poshmark clothes on. Unless I know the brand, and even when I do, I personally need to know if I can button the pants or if the shirt is long enough to cover my bumpy places!

jkdesigns @sftrendy Hope it helps. For what it’s worth, I Work Posh 6-12 hrs a day and eventually left my crappy job to do this because I prefer it. I have been at it for one year.

sftrendy @jkdesigns thanks for your attention and your time to explain . I agree with everything you said. To the degree I can recall, I provided actual measurements for all or most my clothing items - in most cases I already have them in my other listing, same for the pictures. To the fault I spend much extra time to take pictures and list my items. That does not mean that they are flawless or there is no room for improvement - always is. More ....

sftrendy I also watched podcast of many professional credible and successful resellers and took the point that most buyers are too busy to read long descriptions and need to make decisions on the phone and on the go. So. I took that in consideration. As for categories, yes I agree is needed but I don’t have much varieties yet to divide them. Although I haven’t yet study how to do so. But should come later.
