Made in the USA
Description: Authentic reproduction of the original 1931 University of California Berkeley ballcap. Hand-sewn from genuine wool baseball cloth.
History: Since taking over the helm as the head coach of the Golden Bears baseball team in 1930, California baseball legend Clint Evans and the baseball boys of Berkeley would go on to win 9 C.I.B.A (California Intercollegiate Baseball Association) championships before winning the very first College World Series played in 1947 over the Yale Bulldogs. Another first for CAL was playing in the first intercollegiate baseball game played on the west coast when they took on the College of the Pacific on November 6th, 1886 and played to an 11-11 tie when the game was called on account of darkness (27 years after the first intercollegiate game played by Williams College and Amherst in Pittsfield, Mass. in 1859). The California Golden Bears are members of the Pac-12 Conference and currently play their home games at Evans Diamond Stadium in Berkeley, California on the Campus of the University of California.

Just received the cap. My first Ebbet cap so I was surprised the bill isn’t at all rigid. Is this normal for their caps? I’ve tried one on before but it had a normal firm bill that could be shaped. It’s also too small so guess I’ll be reposhing it. Thanks.

@mrturry yeah lots of them of that soft brim, although not all. Bummed to hear it’s too small!
