I just checked the size guide on the brand's website and it says a 10 translate to a medium

@erinrosemac so sorry for the delayed response, I thought I was in travel mode! Yes an AUS 10 does translate to a medium, but this is their very beginning style so the sizing is different! It is meant to be an XS, and definitely fits as such
