Easter Hat - Charming Midcentury Spring Hat - Cream with Flowers - Vtg. 1950s

A pretty ultra-feminine coquettish creation of a stiffened fabric that looks like very fine and slightly shiny straw - unsure what kind of fabric it is & has no fabric content label - however it is very pretty. There is a pleated ribbon hat band inside the hat. Outermost edge is stiffened with a fabric covered wire inserted into a narrow channel of the fabric. Hat is decorated with a wreath of hand made organdy flowers all around the upper edge. It is very pretty and the epitome of romantic French 1950's style. Perfect for Easter to wear to church or for an Easter parade. Perfect for a garden party or a wedding! Perfect for any occasion you attend where you want to look lovely and stand out in a crowd as having far better style & taste than anyone else in attendance! True vintage & truly charming. This is the kind of hat that women wore in the film Gigi that Maurice Chevalier had in mind when he sang "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" This hat is one size and will likely fit anyone due to the style & way in which it is constructed. You could add combs or a fine elastic or use a hat pin to anchor it to your hair if desired. It is very easy to do.
