East Asian Basket Jar w Attached Bamboo Feet Round Reed Vase Hand Dyed VTG Japan

This is very cool. Fine weave basket, possibly bamboo or some type of fine grass/reed in natural finish with hand dyed green & purple reeds woven in. Appears to be quite old as the colors are faded on the exterior but still deep on the interior (see last two photos.) I was told this was likely Japanese and hand dyed. It has applied bamboo feet attached with copper wire. The reeds have a shiny finish. Personally I would put a glass jar inside this and use it as a vase with flowers. Condition*: Excellent condition, faded with age but I dont feel that detracts from its beauty.
