Early American Uniform Button .925

This is a handmade sterling silver ring. I was told when I purchased it from a local silversmith that the button is antique from the Civil War Era. One of a kind. size 5.5. I wore and loved it for many years but it no longer fits on my finger so I am hoping to find it a new home. I bought this directly from the person who made it, a local artist in New Mexico.
