Early 1800s GEORGIAN Pink Paste Stone Earrings

These are beautiful Antique Early 1800s Georgian Era Pink Paste Stone Earrings. The metal is unmarked Tested Sterling Silver and Partially brass on the back. The oval Faceted Pink Stones are Paste Stones = A special glass and lead formula (and a few other ingredients); designed to mimic precious gemstones. The beautiful stones in these Beauties were likely meant to mimic pink topaz, a rare and desirable gemstone mined from imperial topaz, in the 18th & 19th Century.
