atm9477 @sudiptarao Sorry for any confusion! So both the jacket and the pants have a tag with sizing being 38L. :) The waist measurement I listed was from the jacket laying flat and it was 19 inches across!

atm9477 @sudiptarao Yep that was also the measurement with the jacket laying flat! It measured 20 1/2 straight across the front at the hip area. I looked up exactly how to measure all parts of a tuxedo jacket, and the hip area is measured 6 inches from the top button, and then straight across there!

atm9477 If I need to do more measurements on the pants for you I can do that also! I just measured the inseam on the pants, which was 34 inches, and the tag lists the size as a 38L.

atm9477 @sudiptarao Lol sorry for all the messages! So according to sizing charts, a size 38L has a chest measurement of 36-38 inches! If measuring straight across the front, that would be 18/19 inches. I think I had measured to the wrong seam when looking at my pictures of the pit to pit/chest measurement! Hope that hasn’t confused you at all!

atm9477 @sudiptarao No worries at all and you’re welcome! If he is a size 38 long/tall pants it could work great with minor tailoring if any needed! If not, I could see where more tailoring would be needed. You can always take him to a tailor to get his measurements for a more accurate reading.☺️ Thank you again!
