EUC Opening Ceremony Grunge Lace Up Ankle Boot - Dark Grey Canvas w/ Rubber Toe, Rugged Rubber Traction Soles, Black Piping Detail, Excellent winter weather boots/spring rain, and super stylish for fall. I purchased these from Barney’s New York in 2012, with the intention of owning a boot that was suitable for walking through the worst of winter weather, and equally wearable from day to night without taking away from the integrity of a cute outfit. This was a TALL order, especially in 2012. But finally I found this Opening Ceremony pair - the traction soles and heavy duty, water resistant canvas material were ‘Mom approved’ for being practical and robust enough to sustain themselves through trekking around in tough New York weather, rain snow or shine. I was just happy they had a heel and a 90s edge. UNFORTUNATELY I was too optimistic about how snug they truly were on me and I was only able to wear them a few times before retiring them for the next decade. They’re in perfect condition and, while I’m a true size 9 US, I think these would best fit an 8.5 US, or maybe a narrow 9 US.
