My wife loves LL Bean. but not sure what size 1X is? google says 36 waist? she's sort of on the slim side.

@sybaritica Hi! This would likely be on the big side for her as it is slightly roomier than a size XL. Although sometimes that is a positive depending on whether one wears bulky sweaters and tops underneath. I hope that helps!
