penny_cordova Hi, ok, the waist measures 17” across laying flat. They have a fairly low-ish rise so they sit below the waist. And they have drawstrings so you can cinch them as tight as you like, as well as belt loops so you can add a belt if desired. They are almost vintage too! They are from the summer ‘06 collection so they will officially be vintage next year! Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Penny
