Built with Boost midsole technology, they feature super-responsive cushioning that unleashes energy with every step. PureBoost X is the only running shoe on the market with a "floating" arch specifically engineered to contour the female foot. This allows the shoe to adapt to a variety of foot shapes and the range of expansion in female runners' feet. The arch hugs the foot like a tensor bandage with Adidas' signature three stripes. It feels a little like you're wearing compression socks attached to clouds. The stability of the shoe is in the full Boost midsole, Adidas' signature running technology, made of expanded polyurethane foam for an energy-returning midsole that is both comfortable and shock absorbing. The Boost midsole makes for a responsive and bouncy run, and cushioning is moderate. There are ventilation points along the sneaker that help negate foot sweat and increase breathability. The rubber outsole has a lattice-like pattern called Stretchwebb, which is flexible and adapts to every stride while gripping to different terrain. Smoke- and pet-free home.
