hsb4me I keep looking at this jacket but it looks gold in color to me. Your description reads more of a brown ?

pamssmith @hsb4me As I said in the description, Eddie Bauer’s description of this color confused me greatly, because ‘driftwood’ (which is what they call this color) to me is like a taupe-y gray-ish brown. But that’s not the color of this jacket.

pamssmith @hsb4me I can see why it would look gold. It is shiny because it waxed. Also because it waxed, there’s some mottling to the color — it’s not solid. But it’s not metallic in anyway.

pamssmith @hsb4me so again, like I said in the description, I would call this color ochre — so it’s more of a yellow, beige-y, clay color.
