The navy color is soft like a paler blue, not a dark navy The hat material is very soft. The sides of the hat, has mesh parts to he more breathable. The brim is Wide to keep sun out of your eyes. Tag says Body is made of 100% Cotton. Mesh is 100% polyester . The brim feels so soft on the inside and the Top. Hat can be rolled up and retains shape.
