katesnowden @natalie457 sorry for the late response! Laying flat, the waist measures approximately 12.5” across. By the opening, did you mean from the top of the zipper to bottom area (crotch) or leg opening? I believe the top of the zipper to bottom is approx 3”, and leg opening is 6 3/4”.
