Very Good Used Condition.* "Another Name For Madness" By Marion Roach. 1985. Memoir. An account of a young woman's search for understanding and hope as she helplessly witnesses her mother's growing disorientation due to Alzheimer's disease. Ms. Roach (now Marion Roach Smith) was just three weeks out of college when she went to work for the New York Times. There, she was assigned to write an article about a disease just then beginning to get more attention from the medical community as it affected a growing number of families, including Ms. Roach's: Alzheimer's Disease. Out of the article grew this memoir. Ms. Roach went on to have a successful career as an author, publishing multiple books, and now works as a memoir writer, editor, teacher and coach.
