Do these fit true to size?

In my opinion, yes- these run true to size. Especially now as they are pre-owned, the leather has softened up quite a bit. I usually wear an 8 in Madewell shoes and these are a good fit. I did put a small cushion at the inside center back to prevent friction- it worked perfect for me.
