ESTATE VINTAGE GUMPS GUMP'S "CH" 14K GOLD AMETHYST BEAD STRAND NECKLACE DIAMOND

This is a CLASSIC Gump's amethyst necklace. GORGEOUS oval-shaped diamond design clasp that is 14k white clasp. Originally purchased from Gump's in San Francisco many years ago. LOVELY round amethyst beads separated by double knotted silk thread and has yellow gold swirl designed rondelles. Clasp is marked, "CH (in a diamond symbol) 14k 585." It measures approximately 17"L fully opened. This weighs approximately 51 grams. Each amethyst is about the same size, which is approximately 3/8"across. The yellow gold swirled rondelles measure approximately 3/8" across. The yellow gold rondelles appear to be hollow. The diamond oval clasp measures 3/8"L by 5/16"W. It has been worn a few times, but has been stored away in a safe in a non-smoking home. Pictures of actual item. The clasp and caps are both done in white gold. The spacers between the amethyst beads is yellow gold.
