modafor1 It seems so small for 56 Italy that i would like to ask you if you took measurements yourself?! I appreciate the reply and I just want to make sure it’s correct measurements because I have similar one by the brand and it’s 44R and bigger than yours! I can’t figure out the pit to pit being 20”!! It has to be 22 at least or maybe it’s a mistake by the manufacturer and it happens too! Thank you very much for your help and time!!! Best regards!

modafor1 @mandyboggs thank you for being so kind! The way I see it the measurements are for 40R and I don’t even think it wd fit because it will be skintight! I am sure you understand why I am confused about this! I very much appreciate your help! Good evening!

modafor1 @mandyboggs hi, i have 3 pieces by this brand and they did change hands few times in 10 years but what is constant is the sizing issues and content of fabrics discrepancy! So it is not surprising at all that sz 56 looks like 48L (Italian sz)! I’m trying to say that it is not you! Thank you for the help!

modafor1 @mandyboggs hello again, it’s not a problem at all and I’m glad you were able to confirm the measurements and it does sound about right! I’m going to be very honest with you—I used to love this brand in the 80-90s and did have a lot of their pieces but as it happens with all very good family brands they are bought up (by behemoths like Louis Vuitton who I think owns all of em now! Ha!)and the catalogs they put out out with $1000-2000 are mostly hype!

modafor1 @mandyboggs ok but I am just going by price I paid 4 months ago for new wot here $75…I just saw this model but all heavy wool at $147 free deliv. And I saw used one on Grailed asking $180 and last offer was $45 but it was beat up. It’s too long for me I think but if you get offer(s) past hundred I would take it!
