ENRIQUE LEDESMA TAXCO MEXICO ALEXANDRITE STERLING SILVER BANGLE VINTAGE BRACELET

Amazing Taxco bracelet by renowned silversmith Enrique Ledesma, who first opened his shop in 1950 and became famous for his silver creations and also for stone setting . All of his creations feature very interesting colored stones. This bangle bracelet has 2 synthetic Alexandrite stones, approx. 12mm in diameter each. The stones change color from purple to fuchsia and pink, depending on the light. In a gloomy day light you can also see some blue/gray in them, but i was not able to capture it with the camera. Since Ledesma passed away in 1979 , his jewelry creations are harder and harder to find with every passing year.
