bunny0309 @kaylaarrington is it a natural stone?
Jul 23Reply
kaylaarrington
kaylaarrington @bunny0309 if you mean as in naturally occurring then yes. It is not man made. It is a certified diamond I have the original GIA certificate which a jeweler will give you any time you buy a genuine stone

bunny0309 @kaylaarrington yes, that is what I meant. You know like a natural stone, made of pressurized carbon over high temperatures over billions of years, opposed to a synthetic or lab created stone, which yes, is man made? I’m assuming this is why the GIA has produced the certificate rather than IGI. I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Let me check the grading of the stone and get back to you. Thank you so much!!!

kaylaarrington @bunny0309 you’re welcome ! Here is a link to why some diamond professionals prefer GIA https://www.diamonds.pro/education/igi/

bunny0309 @kaylaarrington I personally prefer them because of their consistency and uniformness of grading standards. Others can be looser with their standards, passing off lower quality and better graded stones. Much more reliable as well. I only buy GIA certified stones.
