This Edna Hibel plate is composed of layers of pigment and 18 karat gold accent and rim. I am listing Hibel plates that are part of my family's collection. I can state with certainty that this plate was displayed in a closed cabinet. There is no damage noted to this plate. It is not meant for food use but strictly for collection or decoration.
