The dusky pionus is a medium-sized dark brownish-gray parrot in the Psittacidae family. It features a medium-wide gray eye-ring, cream-white upper neck feathers, a pinkish-red belly tinge, and red undertail coverts. Its remiges and tail are blue with a red base. Overall, it’s a dark brownish-gray parrot, native to South America.
