Dubarry Limoges Peint Main Rabbit/Bunny Holding Watering Can

Do you love bunnies? Gardening? Or just adorable Limoges trinket boxes? Then this one is for you! A beautiful heirloom to last forever! This lovely Limoges box shows a cute little rabbit who appears to take his gardening very seriously! He is a brown bunny, with a pink nose holding a large watering can with yellow and red tulips painted on it. He stands on a grassy base which has some red, yellow and blue flowers. Made by Dubarry in Limoges, France this trinket box has a pretty flower clasp and bears the insignia of the artist. Inside is a hand painted picture of three flowers that match the flowers this little guy is tending. This adorable box is in mint condition. It measures about one and a half inches in width, and stands at about two inches tall. The bottom is marked “Dubarry”, “Peint Main” “Limoges France”, and is marked with what I believe are the initials of the artist who painted it; “R.V.” It comes with the original box and the pamphlet Dubarry includes with their orders. (Shown in pictures.) Dubarry (Porcelaine de France) is a family-owned business and has been producing Limoges boxes for half a century. They have established a reputation for producing a high quality Limoges Porcelain, specializing in hand painted designs and they are proud to be classified among the best in the field.
