If it's a gift for someone I can wrap it nicely for you. Last I looked at it the battery was ok. nanasjewelbox @lamune1 At this point in time, probably not. I listed this a few years ago. It did run when I listed it. I just didn't expect it to take so long to sell, lol. If you want me to buy a new battery and install it to be sure it runs, I'll be happy to do that for you. It'll take a day or two, and I'll need to add the cost of the battery to the listing price. I think it'll be approx $10. I should be able to get it done by Sunday, if you want.

lamune1 @nanasjewelbox no you don’t have to buy a battery but do you mind taking it to a jewelry place to check if it works. They’ll check it for free. I am really interested. I don’t know what has gotten over me that now I just want to buy vintage gold watches lol. I just purchased two seiko I needed to buy the batteries but one of the watches doesn’t work. I just want to make sure before I buy and get excited. Lol

Since the watch worked before the most recent battery ran down, no need to bother a Jewelers to have it checked. I’m sure with a brand new battery it’ll run just fine.
