This piece of pottery is absolutely gorgeous! It has amazing detailing from the very rim to the bottom! The rim is slightly oval because of the decorative edge which is scalloped and higher on the two sides and a little lower in the front and back. The bottom is footed and the lower half of the luminary is a textured coppery brown in color. There are cut outs all the way around as the pictures show with a hole in the back to easily place your tea light. The cut outs are round and teardrop shaped. The glaze dripping down this piece is absolutely beautiful! It ranges from shades of tan to a coppery brown and even a slightly golden brown. I promise you this piece will not disappoint! It will make a statement both in the light in the dark! It is unmarked but by looking at the bottom I would say it looks handmade and is very possibly one of a kind.
