At the bottom of the legs, where the intentional fraying is, it looks like the legs are notched. Is the fraying running/getting out of control, or is that the way they're cut?

@diane_hardner you could certainly trim it back, but it just appears to be the way they're cut. The embroidery is keeping them from fraying excessively if that makes sense. I've attached a couple more pictures of the hems.
