I bought these secondhand myself but I’m pretty sure they’re the classic smooth leather. See wear on toes (could be fixed with shoe polish) and back tabs. Replaced original laces with these marled ones from the docs store - they’re like grayish purple/white/orange. Still have loads of life in them!
