@kceeoh9 generally speaking 6mm will hug the nose very snugly. And it will go out from there. 8mm will have some space between the hoop and your nose. 7mm falls right in the middle..

@tetr0 Hi, sorry for the delay.. The gauge is the thickness.. It goes backwards in the sense that the number goes up as it gets thinner.. so in this case 20 gauge will be the thinnest. The other size, the mm one is the diameter.. Basically how big around it is.. 6mm is real small, and by far the most popular size.. I would suggest either 6 or 7mm..

@angiekaber Hello, unfortunately 24g and 22g are too thin for this piece.. 20g is the thinnest we can go and have it hold it’s shape.. If I made you a 22g one, it would be bent real easy.. I would not expect it to last very long.. 24g is just way way too thin.. Are you planning on buying one?? If you buy a 20g, to be safe. I would include a 22g one free of charge.. You will see in time what I was talking about. But then you’d still have to 20g one which will last.. Mike

Yes the 6mm and 8mm sizes are for the diameter of the hoop.. We measure inside to inside when making them.. So a 6mm hoop would actually be bigger than 6mm overall.. The “hole” will be 6mm.. Take all the time you need.. We aren’t going anywhere

@minimalista88 No, Gold filled will never “rub” of lol.. The outer layer of gold is so thick you could not wear through it in 20 years. Even if you tried to.. Honestly side by side, a professional jeweler cannot tell the difference.. Just the gold does not go all the way through is all.. Mike

A person that wears 18 gauge, can wear both 20 or 18, but a person that wears 20 cannot fit an 18 in there.. That makes 20 gauge the “safe” choice..
