The synthetic leather on the inside is peeling slightly however, the outer shell is leather, and in great condition. As well as the soles. These are actually surprisingly comfortable for such a high heel. I measured the bottom and it is 8 inches in total. I wear a size 8 I cannot find the size listed on the inside of the shoe.
