Zip on side. Super supportive cushioning. The sales person said most people go a half size up. I am usually a 7, but got a 7.5. They fit, but a little loose, so I wish I had stayed true to size (I have a narrower foot and I wear thin socks). The laces are functional, so they can be tightened. There’s a functional inner side zip for easy on and offs. Worn twice.
