This is a big backpack. You can fit 2 regular sized water bottles in the black mesh compartments each side. There are 4 zips one the main compartment. We used this for about the last couple hours at California Adventure no stains inside. There are few marks on the outside and they can be seen in the photos. I am sure you can get them out.
