Disney Princess Elena of Avalon Burgundy or Red Dress for 11 Inch Barbie Doll

To me this lovely dress looks burgundy, but others online describe it as red. It is for the 11 inch Elena of Avalon Barbie Fashion Doll. It is in good condition, however there is a slit between the left side of the inner white part of the dress & the burgundy part of the dress, as noted in the pictures. Perhaps it was manufactured this way? I don't know. No tags on the inside of the dress
