The front of the castle is dotted with colorful lanterns. The puzzle is a rewarding challenge. It has large areas of purple to pink ombre color and small details (the crowd, lights and tree branches). The puzzle has 1000 pieces and is 27 inches x 20 inches when assembled. Those familiar with Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle in Anaheim, California will notice the similarities of the Hong Kong castle with the original Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle. Hong Kong Disneyland opened in 2005 with Sleeping Beauty Castle which was based on Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland (California). In 2016 the Sleeping Beauty Castle (Hong Kong Disneyland) underwent a transformation into the Castle of Magical Dreams - a taller and grander castle for the theme park. Because of the debut of the new castle this puzzle is retired and rare. It was only available at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (in Hong Kong) until 2016.
