@flamingjune5dwj Great closet! I saw your comment you made on a Dior bag just like this one. She also had another Dior bag that looked like a speedy. I had my doubts about authenticity but she assured me they were authentic vintage bags from the 90s and I believed her. Do you think its a replica?

@sophiapetrillo Thank you :) I love Dior
Yes, I am afraid I don't just think, I know. I hate to make comments like that, but when people claim 100% authenticity on obviously fake bags it upsets me. I have been collecting Dior since 2002, and I can tell you without a doubt those bags are not authentic. That bag you commented on from her like this one is most certainly not from the 1990s. It was only made in 2002/2003 for the launch of the Addict Line, which also included a perfume and other items. Also, Dior did start using date codes in the mid 90s - in 1997 I think, so even if she did want to claim no date code, it would be wrong because there is no way this bag is pre-Galliano. Galliano started at Dior in 1997, and this is most definitely one of his designs. I know that this bag also was only available in blue denim, tan suede, and black leather, there were some other limited editions like one in a black satin, but those are more rare and would have a metal plaque inside. Dior never made this bag in the monogram fabric. The lining on the inside of the bag is also all wrong, that lining is only found on the Lady Dior line, it is the cannage lining and never used on any other bags. There also should be stitching all around the inner tag, which was started by 2000. As for the other bag, that label doesn't have stitching all around it either, and the date code numbers were never ever printed on the front of the inner tag (except limited editions but thats a different story). If that bag were real, that date code would mean January of 2000, which means there would have to be stitching all around it. I am so sorry if you got taken, the bags she has are still cute I think, but they are most certainly not authentic, and I just don't like for people to not be told the truth about authenticity. If you ever have any other questions don't hesitate to ask, and I hope this helps :)

@flamingjune5dwj Thank you very much for the info. I was going to buy the black one so I am happy you decided to comment about authenticity. If she is still claiming that they're authentic to buyers, I will let them know.
