kimaus0821 Do you have the paperwork with that and is it under warranty? As long as it’s inspected every six months you’ll send the warranty along with that yes?

jennifermariea @kimaus0821 Unfortunately, Kay jewelers is unable to transfer a warranty to a different name. If the item were to need to be repaired under warranty, who owns the piece would need to be able to provide proof of purchase, which is what I have.

jennifermariea Correction* Unfortunately, if the original purchase and warranty is in the owner name, another person would not be able to use this. This has been clarified through Kays. It is encouraged to purchase your own jewelry insurance for coverage and protection.

jennifermariea @sherrilynn22 I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask them. The warranty is on the customer and the customer’s responsibility at this point. Everyone usually insures their own property, especially jewelry

sherrilynn22 @jennifermariea Yes you are right I just figured with their warranty I can get it cleaned, resized etc. I spoke with them they said as long as it has been kept up with I can bring the receipt and they will resize and do the cleanings. I can purchase a new warranty so they will do the diamond replacement if one goes loose.

jennifermariea @sherrilynn22 Last inspection was perfect. No loose stones. Inspections are due every 6 months but this is due for an inspection. Sorry I missed your offer and did not see it come through. Please send another offer if interested. The least I could do is $650, as my net profit won’t be much. Thank you!
